Our students in GCE 2023 excelled with impactful and inspiring projects. They developed a sign language recognition system to support the deaf community, a project to categorize article images by their topics to facilitate access to information, and a system to detect and classify fake news to protect users from misinformation. These projects demonstrated that students are capable of leveraging artificial intelligence for practical solutions that serve society and meet the challenges of our time.
This event introduces our intensive program for web development students. Over just a few weeks, students progress from the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to building modern interfaces with React, working in teams (Git/GitHub, Code Review), and turning real designs into fast, responsive websites. We graduate web developers who can build real products, work within a team, and deliver production-quality work that meets market standards. The most outstanding projects were: a Management Information System, and an HR and Recruitment website.
The year 2023 witnessed many successes and innovations presented by our students, the most notable of which were projects that managed to translate ideas into practical solutions for real needs within our environment , like : pharmacy app olivy app.
In 2023, our students showcased their talent through innovative projects that served community-driven ideas and through the creative redesign of existing products. Their work featured the development of full visual identities, including logo design, engaging promotional materials, dynamic social media content, along with mockups and posters. The outcomes highlighted an impressive level of creativity and professionalism. Among the standout projects was “Let’s Really Play and Labour”, which gained distinction for its original concept and outstanding execution.
In 2023, our students successfully carried out a range of advanced networking projects, including building networks from scratch, applying diverse protocols, and configuring the routing systems. Conducted in a real laboratory setting (Real lab), these projects emphasized practical skills while bridging theory with real-world application. As a result, students gained invaluable hands-on experience in network design and operations.
Problem-solving is figuring out what’s wrong, why it’s happening, and what you can do about it—then trying the best option and learning from the result.
